Alz For One

We've recently faced a challenging life event. We believe our experience can help countless people going through a similar situation. 

For over 5 years, our mother, Kathie Graves Garcia, bravely battled Alzheimer's disease. 

It's very possible she actually fought the disease even longer, as its symptoms can go unnoticed. 

Sadly, our mother passed away. Throughout our journey with her, we struggled to find the information about how to care for her. 

We had to learn the difference between assisted listing, memory care facilities, and care homes. We had to become experts on legal matters including trusts, wills, power of attorney. We had to discover important advanced health care directives, deal with health insurance, and handle bank accounts and asset management - all while preparing for the inevitable.

The amount of information we have to gather was overwhelming, and we couldn't find a single place to access all these resources. 

That's why we created Alz for One.
